Is there a thread for the vent rings? Or will updates for them come in this one? They look sweet and I can’t wait to get them next!!

I think only 1 or 2 clips “snapped” (both on the same side) for me, so I went to the back to see about the other clips. The rest of the clips were all pushed out like this \ instead of this |

I also took a flat head and tried to get the remaining clips to engage both trying to push down from the top and slip the clip over the ledge. I was able to kind of get them half way engaged on majority but they still didn’t look fully locked in place (clips slightly cocked outwards). The 2 clips closest to the shifter wouldn’t fully clip at all.

Not sure if the clips aren’t ridged enough to stay at a 90 (this | over this \) or if mine was twisted somehow. Once installed I can push on the passenger side of the cup holder outward and it moves/flexes, same with the side closest to the shifter. The driver side (the side that “snapped”) stays in place and doesn’t move.

    @MESO
the mgm color looks good for the cup holder trim. I think mgm on the shifter trim isn’t bad but depending on the black offered (gloss or satin?) I’d probably prefer the black. The shift boot did pop out of the knob when I went through the gears so I’ll have to see if it does it again. My start button didn’t fully seat either but I’m not sure I like the look of the gears so more than likely I’ll paint the start ring and vent rings a satin sem black. It’s just too busy for me

Ordered and installed everything. The start button was a PIA and I couldn’t get it to line up correct and eventually snapped the ring. @MESO immediately sent me a new replacement. Dude knows what customer service is all about.

True, I just wasn’t sure since it’s technically a different “kit”.

Well, I got my Christmas lights down, brisket smoked, watched a little football, and got my Meso Chrome Delete Kit installed. When I first ordered the package I thought Stew sent me black instead of the ordered MGM but when I got it out under my Ultimate Map Lights it was obvious what color it was.

Following along with the installation video everything was pretty straight forward. I played around with the start button ring for less than a minute until it fell right into place. I think it helps to try and place it as straight in as possible and as little of an angle as possible.

My biggest issue was that I couldn't get the center cup holder section to slide over the E-Brake and remove it from the truck. Stew just ripped his out in the video but mine wasn't doing that. I didn't want to force it or tear anything so I managed with it still attached.

As much as $ will allow
I’ve heard you can pop the cup holder piece off w/o having to do all that but not sure I’d try it because plastic could get damaged.

Stew and his lobster hands, lol!

For the center console, it was trying to find the right leverage spot to pull and get it to release. I found a spot where I could put my finger underneath where the center console e-brake (follow the boot cover and you can place your finger underneath the back and pull up.) In his video he says start from the back I believe, and once I found that leverage it was a piece of cake!

Once you tackle threading cables through the driver door "boot" doing puddle lights installation, I feel prepared for anything :)

Installed today, now the only chrome piece left is the mirror control. :bananadance:

Edit: and steering wheel emblem :pout:

I wrapped the climate trim piece while I had the dash apart, and what a PITA getting that grey piece separated is. Then had to do it again because I didn’t put the gears for the climate controls back in correctly and could only get AC to my feet. :bananadead:

    Looks very nice. :bananadance:
Now need to cover the glovebox keyhole. We need some sort of cover that can snap on and still access with the key.
As for the steering wheel cover. Need someone to make different color overlays like for the body emblems.
