    Objective:
Solid phone car mount where my iPhone is placed into holder that has a lightening connector. I use CarPlay, and prefer not to screw with plugging in phone each time.

    Research done thus far:
    • Proclip with mount.
    • I love the Un-Holy Taco Mount from Hondo and is the only one I’d consider that doesn’t have a built in lightening connector. I know. Violates the objective. It’s a damn sweet mount.
    • Perhaps the most interesting one is Bobine Auto from Fuse Chicken. I have my doubts about it staying put, though...anyone tried this one?
    • Generic Amazon mount. There’s tons of them, but they all look cheap as hell.
Wireless charging isn’t important...it’ll be plugged in to USB.

Thanks in advance for the assist.

It may not be ideal and I know you want it all in one but my x grip holds my phone so tight I can plug in my cable one handed.

I’d do the Taco Garage DMM and then find a mount you can attach a ram mount to. It’s an awesome way to mount things.

I believe this is going to be my route. I’ll go DSM so I can use Hondo’s cable clips. Should be clean.
