I’m totally running a mirrored snorkel on the drivers side for the other turbo.

Any possibility of fitting with a winch mounted up front? Can the intercooler move up and behind the Toyota emblem?

 

Looks possible with some creative cutting. Not sure how long the actual intercooler is. I have a dual light bar behind the grill i would definitely remove to make it work! But i cant be without the winch!

 

Dimensions of the two choices...

 

So I fit 29.5x11”(the bigger intercooler) of wood behind the grill. Will have to cut a small bit of plastic from the plastic piece with the white sticker on it, and move my warn control pack back 1.5”. My question is can I put the intercooler right in front of my radiator and engine oil cooler/radiator without issue?

 

I'd have to see how it's mounted in there

Is the base kit going to be compatible with pre existing Snorkel kits that some of us are running?

 

By the looks of it... installing these twin turbos will be like dropping a Chevy Big Block under the hood.

As of now no but MESO is releasing a new twin turbo twin snorkel kit !

 

Can’t wait to show you. The more I read on intercoolers in front of radiators the more I think it’s ok. I’d be willing to blaze the path for us winch owners. Ultimately I think I’d give up the winch for turbos, but both would be fantastic.

I ordered, and hated to give up, the rotrex you offered a while back, but now I’m happy that I did give them up, and excited for turbos. Can’t wait to see final results.
