I will say on cold mornings and no warmup my Ranger does shift fairly ruff in the first few shifts around 20mph but otherwise is fine. I’m keeping my eye on it for right now but have only experienced it twice so far.

Doesn't sound like it is inaccurate per say, the only thing he is fired up about is the auther did not state "retired." So, is it article actually accurate on the subject the "new" Danger Ranger has transmission issues? Don't know and not going to spend the time to look

Ok, now that you mention it.. I do recall once, when it was cold and I started the truck and had to go right away, that it did shift hard enough that I thought something hit me from the rear end.

    Read...

the "engineer" never stated the article is inaccurate.... He is upset because he was called "engineer" and not "retired engineer." Now, I will not do the research for you to determine if the content of the article is accurate or not.

No one is asking you to do the research for me. I do my own research. You contradicted yourself in the last post and was pointing that out. In other news, the author of the article never contacted him when writing the article. It's journalism in 2020

That ain’t bad especially considering the truck hit the market with here’s the new Ranger but if you hold out a for a bit longer you can get the real new Ranger.

Seems unlikely considering through Q3 they were at 56,000.

Don’t remember specific #s but I know I read it went something like this
    Q1 10k
    Q2 20k
    Q3 30k
And those are rounded down so probably is at least close to 100k including Q4 sales
