What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Coverage in ground looks good (even glow with minimal shadows) How many cyclones are you running underbody? Thx, trying to figure out How many i need.

 

Little test run , loading my bike up , bed extender wont fit

 

Cleaned up my wheels using diluted adams all purpose cleaner as a presoak then washed using dawn dish soap. Had pretty bad brake dust stains on the powder coat but that combo took it right out, then used a wax/ceramic coat spray...



Also reinstalled the black trim pieces I painted yesterday

 

Installed RCI lower control arm skids and gas tank skid. Only need the diff skid and it’ll be “full armor”

didn’t take a pic of the LCA ones but whatever lol. Also need to replace the gas tank straps in the spring. Snapped a stud putting the new skid on

 

I kept my snow scraper by the passenger seat just so I could bump it for a few weeks until I got around to changing it.

 

Wife and kiddos are having a playdate, Papa is in the garage...

 

Yeah next time I’ll just haul it on my 5x8 trailer it should be fine

 

Adjusted the front Fox shocks on the truck, but ran into encountered minor interference issues with the Fox tool. Decided to make my own with some scrap. The homebrew tool worked perfect!

Even got fancy using some scrap wood as a handle

 

I built this bed rack. Cheap and pretty strong!

 

In the middle of the picture, just above the carpet, white plug with 4 grey wires going down under the carpet, 5.5mm socket for the screws X2, butt connectors come with it.

The resistor might have failed due to the blower fan being clogged up with hair, dust, dirt. You could pull it, disassemble and clean; or replace the motor w/fan.

Hood scoop insert was fading so decided to plastidip will post pics of install in daylight. Came out pretty good.

While I was messing around with wiring and electrical, I finally wired up the heated seat switches to turn on with dash lights and upgraded to a nice red LED for the PRNDL light.

Sorry for the dust, too lazy to clean it out now...

By the way, anyone wire up a Hella value fit harness to a Air On Board switch?

 

Yes I did. It took me less than 3 minutes. But I have to admit that it took me longer to photoshop that than it did for you to write your comment so there's that. Lmfao too

If it isn't already too late, I'd highly recommend one of the tailgate reinforcement options available. These tailgates are notoriously weak and many have bent them doing just what you are doing. Many to choose from, but Relentless looks to be the best design IMO (cause it covers the cap and has the bends).
