Pretty fun Rose Bowl. I didn't realize half of the UGA team had quit before making my prediction, and so far Baylor certainly seems to want to be there more. It's a dog of a game so far, though.

That's literally part of the NCAA rules on roughing the passer: "Forcibly driving the passer to the ground and landing on him with action that punishes the player."

 

WTF!!! I would have told him to sit down and I would have called 911 for him. Glad they arrested the trash that did this.

In the UGA players’ defense, the majority of them are injured. Only a couple aren’t playing because they chose not to.

 

And that literally wasn’t what happened. He tackled him and put his hand down to catch himself and he slid up so jones helmet twisted.

PHX is a shithole in many parts, while an awesome place in others. I travel there several times per year for work and always pay attention to my surroundings.

 

In my dream world coaches may challenge penalties NOT called by a referee, and if found to in fact be missed then the penalty is retrospectively called and the official is replaced on the spot.

 

People people... have we forgot football is a HUMAN sport.

No ref, player or coach is gonna perform 100% perfectly.

Bad plays will be called... fouls will be missed or erroneously called... balls will be dropped. You can say anything as a spectator that helps you sleep better at night but at the end of the day... when the scoreboard strikes 0:00 the game is over and nothing more can be done to alter the outcome. If you WERE supposedly the better team... 1 missed call shouldn't be the reason you lost.

The losing team lost because they weren't the better team. Had they played better... that blown call wouldn't have mattered.

Every tackle is driving into the ground. It’s called a tackle. The purpose is bring them to the ground.
