Deer hunting BS thread

Looks like a high rent district to me. Hope they catch them.

 

Tis, those houses start in the $400’s. Not too many years ago there was tobacco planted there.

 

Sounds like normal XX chromosome driving.

 

Deer season is officially over for us this season. Wife killed two 8’s, I killed two 8’s, our son got his first @7 years old, a button head. We had zero misses, a first for us. What an awesome, blessed season!!!

 

And a hard learned lesson in black powder... but it all worked out

 

Yeah, I’m glad she was able to get him after my lack of cleaning her gun.

I'm trying muzzleloader in my state next year. Modern rifle is a very short season and very crowded out there.

 

Pulled cards today and there is noooo movement. There was a fresh scrape that i moved one of the cameras to. The few (does and yearlings) that are moving, are moving in the dark. Season ends 1/12. I’ve got 4 days available to actually get to go - barring rain.

 

Went out to kill another doe tonight and out of 25-30 deer this was the only one that came in range except a few little fawns.

 

I do a survey with the state on how many deer I see, where we hunt, etc. I saw 15 deer.......all season, from the weekend after Labor Day until today

 

We have good numbers, the problem we have is the amount of pressure on our bucks because of all the outfitters.

 

That's a pretty good deer.

 

3.5 year old 8 pointer.

 

We have till Feb 10th but its buck only from here on out. The bama deer will still rut pretty soon but most of the deer around here are Michigan deer I think and they are all nocturnal so its hard to find motivation. I went dove hunting today... My wife and sister went and sat this afternoon and saw nothing. Maybe ill take up coyote hunting or somethin... But I would like some more meat in the freezer some how (not eating coyote)

 

I saw a coyote yesterday. Man, I love to shoot them dogs!

 

I have permission to hunt on 130 behind my house . A guy and his son live on the other side of this property( 2 different houses on opposite ends of property) and they have about 70 acres combined . They trespass constantly riding UTVs from each other’s house . The son trespasses during deer season also because were I have permission is nasty thick bedding and sanctuary type woods .Now these guys were supposed friends . I posted the property I hunt at the land owners request and I get a phone call from supposed friend asking why and who posted the property. He proceeds to tell me it’s not cool that I posted the property and they better not see me on their property Fucking ass holes . The son who is about 35 is dumber than dirt and wouldn’t have shit if it wasn’t for daddy . These are the type that do and go wherever they want and think nothing of it . Friggen aggravates the shit out of me .
