Gotcha, although Ecoboost guys push the stockies to over 20 psi. Mind you its well over it’s efficiency and is a giant heat pump at that point.
    Very true and respectable

I'm sorry if this was answered already but are you also releasing a supercharger or designing a tune for a specific model?

Ok so for lack of knowledge, what’s the difference in 278hp rated for a stock Tacoma and 325 whp?

Stock trucks dyno around 215-240hp depending on the dyno. So essentially 100whp.

    Nice! Tons of low end!

Will you be able to tell us what numbers we could expect with that base kit around 10 psi on 91 oct?

I think this is a very good amount of power for an upgrade to a daily.

In addition, all that power down low where it is absent in our trucks and only at 6psi. Not enough power you say? turn up the boost a tad.

I'm sure the driveability is 1000 times improved. I'm sure this is probably conservatively tuned as well. I'll probably run 8psi just because the thin colorado air.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
From his base run at 6psi he hit approximately 100whp. That's about 15hp per psi. So I would estimate another 50-60hp with the proper tune.

I'm not totally sure how to math it, but I am sure 8psi at 6k ft is probably pretty equivalent to 6 psi at sea level. I could also be a million times wrong lol.

Not sure lol. Maybe just a psi?
On a turbo application, boost is controlled by the wastegate so 6psi sea level is going to still be achieved at any elevation. The difference is the turbo would need to spin faster to make the same boost level. A byproduct would be it generates more heat and lag but peak hp would be close. But I think the general rule is .05 percent lost of hp per every 1000 ft of elevation for turbo engines. This is nice about turbos, with a supercharger I need to slip on a smaller pulley to achieve the same boost as say someone at sea level.

That's not entirely true. 6psi is 6psi, but the air pressure is actually lower at high elevations therefore 6psi at say 6k ft is actually less pressure than 6psi at sea level. Not only are you getting less oxygen but actually not equivalent air pressure to sea level either.
In fact atmospheric pressure in denver is about 12psi as compared to sea level which is 14.7psi. After doing some googles.

I lived and tuned in Colorado for a few years.

psi the turbos create will be same.
Total pressure (psi from turbo +atmos) will be less.
Colorado Springs air pressure, if I remember right is about 2.8psi less than sea level.

So, let's say you run 6 psi, + sea level 14.7. You get 20.7.

In Colorado Springs you get 6psi + 11.9 atmos,
    17.9 total pressure.

And less power overall at the same boost. Which is why when you see dyno results for high elevation the correction factor can be 20+ percent.

What the boost gauge reads would be relative to ambient air pressure of whatever elevation you are at. So yeah 6psi sea would be different than 6psi at 6000ft, but again I think the general .05 percent loss for every 1000 ft is meant to account for that.
I’ve had many fast cars in my past but that makes me no expert and definitely could very well be wrong so take my word with a grain of salt. But what I am an expert at is driving them like I stole it:bikewheelie2:

If you really want to make anyone and everyone happy
You need to keep all of it basically above where my non existent bumper is

anyone with prerunner bumpers or probably pelfrey CBI or anything similar may run into issues clearing all of the larger stuff

Heck yeah!! Curious if, with the larger intercooler, we could push the boost to 8-9psi to get 380-400hp? While I'm sure 325hp will be really nice, I think 380-400 is the sweet spot for the more performance-oriented driver wanting a mini-raptor.

Yes 380+ is possible with more boost. But the base kit is really setup for maximizing 1500 to 4000 rpm. That's where they shine.
The base kits maximum safe boost will be around 12-14 psi (due to heat)
    Powermax version around 22-24psi.

The limiting factor here is heat. High inlet temps + high compression is a no no
