Florida boat..... Looks like a little bit of horsepower on the back there.








FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A fishing boat smashed into a jetty near Port Everglades in the middle of the night, sending a woman hurtling onto the rocks and also leaving three others injured. The crash propelled the 42-foot boat on top of the jetty.

The woman is thought to have been seriously injured. Three other boat occupants — a woman and two men — also were hurt, potentially with broken bones, said Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Michael Kane.

The call for help came just past midnight Tuesday. The jetty is in Hollywood’s Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park, adjacent to the Port Everglades jetty.

“It’s very dark over there and very difficult to see at night,” Kane said.

The investigation, which would factor in whether the boat was speeding and if there was any impairment, will be done by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

The Conservation Commission did not release the names of the boat occupants or any additional information, other than to say the boat was a 42-foot Hydra-Sports Custom. Images from the scene Tuesday show the vessel having four outboard motors.

 

Weird feeling that this boat cost slightly more than my alloy 12’ cost.

 

Well, sounds like they all got some “serious” action that night.

 

I don't how true it is, but on the news they said it was a "million dollar boat".

Looking at the list of occupants, it doesn't appear that his wife is listed.

The four injured were Daniel Towriss, 47, of Zionsville, Lauren Silagy, 32, of McCodsville, Jarret Silagy, 39, of McCordsville and Cassidy Rudman, 25, of Indianapolis.

However a 25 year old girl is listed.

When the wife finds out, I wonder if the million dollar boat will be the least of his worries.

Looks every bit as good there as it does on a Wrangler.

SAND SPRINGS, Okla. (KOKI/CNN) - A carjacking suspect is in jail after he allegedly drove a stolen truck, its owner and a goat more than 130 miles from Missouri to Oklahoma.

State troopers say 40-year-old Brandon Kirby was arrested Wednesday in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, after a slow car chase in a stolen truck. He is charged with kidnapping and being a felony in possession of a firearm, according to the Creek County Sheriff’s Office.

The truck’s owner says he was asleep when Kirby allegedly took the vehicle at an adult video store in Carthage, Missouri. There was also a goat in the truck at the time.

Police say the carjacker drove all the way to Tulsa, Oklahoma, more than 130 miles away, before kicking the victim and goat out of the truck.

The truck owner called 911 then OnStar to report the vehicle stolen. The security company was able to remotely slow down the truck to 15 miles per hour.

Officers pursed the truck at low speeds and used stop sticks to end the chase. Kirby was then taken into custody.

“OK 2020, it only took you 4.5 hours to get weird. Let’s slow down on the carjacking-goatnapping calls for the remainder of the year,” the Sand Springs Police Department on Facebook.

No one was injured during the incident.

 

As tacky as the "Spartan" grilles look on a Wrangler, they are a work of art compared to the Grumpers.



And now the Grumpers are even appearing on other vehicles as well so they must be popular



I mean, hey, I'm not the arbiter of style and fashion and people can spend their money on whatever makes them happy.

But I see these Grumpers and my first thought is "Just because you can doesn't mean you should" followed by "That looks like something Bane would drive"

A Ricer Civic probably thinks the same thing when they see a 4x4 truck.

That’s just hideous. I came from a JKU before this Tacoma and there way no way I would have put one of those grilles on my Jeep.

 

The sheer lunacy of what people will purchase for their vehicles never ceases to amaze.
