That bolt like @nagorb said looks tapered in the center where it sheared. Also that bolt is different than the ones I received from Toyota.

I have been told this as well. Should i switch to a semi synthetic high mileage oil? Or just regular high mileage oil?

Installed Tundra big brake kit, and full OME 2in lift kit! Bae looks and rides good. Also swapped out the lower ball joints, and outer tie rods

Now thats weird. I’ve never seen those style bolts before for the lbj. The ones I received match what all my previous years of ball joint bolts looked like. Non-flanged head with a washer.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
Did it leave a gap with the hole? I bought a set that be I won't be installing on my 99 model. Maybe it works for later models?

All the bolts I have received were silver in color and had the flange built into the bolt head.

Without being too big a :homer:, (Phessor just seems to have really nailed his choices for stuff he's picked for his 1st gen) that wheel really is one of the best looking wheels I've seen:D:cool: there is one that is similar that nobody has much info on or a line on but I saved the two pics I've ever seen of them. Some rumors that they were dealer installs as some 'chrome package' or similar but on 4runners. They're sweet and close to F5s
(I share the pics hoping some rando has a line on some lol). i-W4TpSDM-X2.jpg TAco_zps18df894e.jpg

I believe the pre-01 LBJ used the flanged head bolt because they don’t have that rubber dust guard. The 01-04 trucks have a captive washer as to not tear the rubber guard when torquing.

My old neighbor was an Amsoil dealer, I wanted to switch to that oil. But he told me if I had ANY leaks now, that they would get worse with synthetic oils. He told me to fix the leaks before a switched.

I've always preferred the bolts w/o the flange as they're a touch longer.

Yea Ill order some of those/ get some extras for spares. They’re a bit cheaper than the washer style it too.

Yup - I've been on the hunt for those 4runner wheels on craigslist too. As well as the limited wheels from 00-02 (I believe). These ones:
