What is the demand for 6 speed manual trans Tacomas?

Had to wait a couple weeks for my 2015, 6 speed MT to ship to the dealership. The salesman said MT access cabs sold as soon as they hit the lot. That's the one thing he said I actually believe as there wasn't one on the lot to test drive.

 

Looking at the dealers inventory around my area there is usually 1 to about 4 Tacoma trucks that are MT sitting on the lot. The truck I got was exactly what I wanted (Black Access Cab with MT) and it was on the dealer lot for about 6 weeks before I bought it. I kept checking on it online thinking it was going to sell any day before I went made the purchase.

 

I drove 8 hours round trip for mine.

 

Waited 5 months for a manual.

 

I drove 8 hours round trip for mine, and was about to drive 20 hours round trip before the one 8 hours away popped up. I was being picky with color though.

Back in '13 I flew from VA to Colorado and drive 24 hours back to get the only blue manual pro-4x frontier in the country at the time.

How come? 2019 is brand new

 

Drove mine home aprox. 8 hours, an awesome road trip.

 

I waited about 6 hours for mine. I found 2 online one locally and one 40 miles away. Jumped on the 1000RR and went to get the one that was 4K off. OR DC Premium and tech.

 

Found this one locally this week. PRO Manual.

 

I would custom order a brand new 3-pedal 2020 Pro for $45k instead of spending $42.6k on a used 2018 with a “no-haggle” price.

 

Im willing to bet that owner is now a proud owner of a ridgeline
