    Not to mention the cost to adjust the injection molder for new mold. We have Engel products and the cost to fly a tech out here for a couple hours of work will make you question your own career choice.

    Hahaha well said. First day at my previous job they got a new tool in and realized someone accidentally sent an old revision of the CAD to the tool maker when they ordered it. Got a $200k paperweight, Needless to say management wasn’t too excited.

    Hey, you guys can talk shit to OP but I wouldn't want my tail lights to look like that either then have them blame it on "manufacturing". Maybe they should polish up where they broke apart the mold before shipping and if its such a hassle charge 20 bucks more.

    You have no idea how manufacturing works or the QC that goes behind production, manufacturing and distribution. Everything has a cost, every warm body, every second of line work, every gram of material. Please come back with something more constructive to back this information. I work for a scientific manufacturer and 3rd party distributor. While I have zero understanding of constructing tail lights, I have a very solid understanding of production costs and corner cutting. (no pun intended)
