I’m not 100% happy with the roof rack I could definitely tell it was an oem rip off. Missing hardware and the brackets were wonky. But I’m about 76% happy with it haha.

Well if it suits your current needs it works if you have a desire for a full rack in the future you may like something like the Hooke Rd roof rack. Really sturdy at a fraction of the cost of the other brands

Took my canopy off to add self adhesive bulb seal to the bed rails to hopefully help seal up the canopy and fix some leaks I found. Also cleaned the interior.

Could you post a pic of the side of your truck? I'm thinking about buying a set of those wheels. Thanks!

A few mods here and there and counting....
I may have to do this to the front. I have a tiny leak, not even bad but i know where it is. No issues on the sides.

I really don't know who or where to ask.

My son bought a used car. He's a veteran so he financed it through Navy Federal Credit Union. Since he was only 20 with no credit my wife was the primary on the car loan. My son waited 6 months and refinanced the car with only his name on the loan in order to build credit. He has the cash and didn't need a loan. A few weeks later he received the title to his car. The title has my wife's name and my son's name on the title (it's written as "or" and not "and"). So in the interest of honesty and being forthcoming he went to Navy Fed's local office and told them what happened. Navy Fed told him that he has to go down to the DMV and add Navy Fed as the line holder and if he doesn't do it within 3 months it automatically changes from a car loan to a personal loan with a 10% higher interest rate.

That seems really weird to me.

And the metal disc fell off after just an hour in the Florida sun. I followed the instructions, cleaned the panel, firm pressure, allow to set for 72 hours. Nope, fell right off.
So I peeled off their 3M adhesive, put superglue on the disc and superglue catalyst on the panel and mated them. Some glue oozed and catalyzed on my thumb (it's exothermic).
Waited a bit, peeled off dead skin and checked to see if superglue worked. Nope, popped back off again.

Now trying superglue on both sides, then spray catalyst and let it soak in (it's systemic, so that will catalyze all the glue... I hope)
Going to let it sit for a day and check. If not, I'm thinking about a mechanical connection using a screw in plate. The sail panel is already messed up, so drilling won't hurt.
Worst outcome, I replace the panel and chuck the mount.

Not really, without their name on the title they can't repossess and have no collateral. I would do as they ask.

That’s not how it works, he’s to surrender the title to them and they file for the lien holders title. Credit unions are notorious for this as they don’t want to pay the small fee for the process.

After I got the canopy back on I realised I should have ran the seal all the way back to the end of the bed rail. There is a small spot where I can see light coming through

The lenders title clerk released the title when they saw the loan was paid off. They should have held it knowing they were doing a loan on the same vehicle. They should have just taken the title from your son that day, had him sign an mv-1 and a POA from and also you wife would have needed to sign a POA form. They can then list them as the lien holders and remove your wifes name. That's what we would do at my work anyways. I work for a CU also.

I'm sure he signed loan docs that had his vehicle and vin listed at the collateral of the loan. That is all they need.
