Stupid 4WD knob right next to the AC knobs

Judging by your thumbnail I believe this is gorilla advertising...

 

No just a guy with a dungeon/basement. Don't go down there.

 

I been looking for a silicon ring/band that would fit the knobs. Ive grabbed the wrong knob more than id like to. Same assholes who put up useless comments here would be the first to buy a “mod” to go over the knobs just for the “cool” factor

Oh lord, first it's in the wrong spot, now it cranks in the wrong direction. 3rd gen quality control is getting out of hand

 

That never happened when we had to climb out and manually engage the locking hubs. I feel your pain.

 

My 84 had two shift knobs, thank goodness one was shorter than the other or I would have never gotten anywhere!

 

I'm an asshole. I'll admit that... I'll also admit that looking before turning any knob would alleviate your issue altogether, not to mention it being slightly cheaper than a silicon ring/band. But don't take my word for it. I'm just a guy whose never turned the 4x4 knob by accident, so what do I know.

 

Do you not have peripherals lol? Or any situational awareness.

I highly think a sub-$20 silicon ring is nothing to multi-$$$$ mods people do on here.

 

My eyesight, which came with the ability to move my eyeballs using the included muscles, was a free gift at birth. Consider me lucky. I’ll keep my $20. Thank you.
