So I’ve already got a Gampro airhorn wired up to my stock horn switch. I wanted to do something different this time, install another Gampro airhorn, but instead of tapping into my stock horn, I wanted to install a foot pedal switch, similar to the ones in fire trucks. My problem is the foot pedal switch has 3 wires: black, white and a green neutral. The 12v compressor has 2 hookups. I’ve tried it hooked up to a 4-pin relay, nothing. Hooked the + of the switch to the battery and tapped it to a + coming from the compressor and the switch did nothing, the horn was going off continuously. Quite a learning curve from the previous install I did. Any help is appreciated

Are you really trying to wire an air horn to your buddies brake pedal? :D

You could hook it up to your brake lights. And have it go off every time you put your foot on the brakes. It's a great prank if you ever do it.

I want one on a switch and mount it under the cab pointing to the left and right to give a heart attack to the jackasses I get next to I see on the phone.

Thank you, this damn switch has been irritating me all night, time to take a break for now. Does it make any difference that the switch is single postion, double throw and normally open?

The horn I have tapped into my OEM horn definitely scares the shit out of people, especially in tunnels

That is a SPDT (single pole double throw) switch. The 3 wires are NO (normally open), NC (normally closed), and COMMON. Figure out which are NO and COMMON. Those are the 2 wires you want to use. Make sure you insulate the NC wire.

NO to the relay. COMMON to ground, IF you are using the diagram I referenced.
