I'm fairly certain the new rims will fit, but the tires are larger. Truck is a 1999 2.7L 4WD Tacoma. The tires I'm looking at are 1" wider. Will they rub or cause other issues?

Will these rims and tires fit?

    New Tires: 265/75/16 BFG KO2
New wheels: SR5 3rd Gen OEM

    Rim Structure: One Piece
    Rim Diameter: 16
    Rim Brand: Factory, OEM

For reference here is my current setup and photo of my truck:

I'm running 265/75/16 General Grabber ATX on my '01 with the stock wheels. I have no lift on the truck and have no issue with rubbing. The truck is a 2.7 4 cylinder with 5 speed and I'm getting around 19 mpg with this setup. Nice looking wheels, where did you get them and what is the price if you don't mind me asking.

That's great to know those tires fit, they look great!

I just looked and those tires you have weight 54 lbs, similar to the BFG's and other E rated tires. i was actually just looking at the 265/70/16's verson of your tire, which are not E rated and are like 42 pounds. glad to know you don't see performance issues. I asked this question about tire weight in another thread and have researched it a bit, about half of people say don't put on heavy tires it will ruin performance and the other half saying it's great and no issues, lol. I guess it's personal preference!

My out the door prices for the wheels and new lugs was $550. Rims were $450. they appear to be break new from the factory, like totally untouched with stickers on them. but were advertised as 'take-offs'. Then about $60 for the lugs plus tax/shipping. My quote on new BFGs was about $900 so I'm going to be about $1500 in the tire and wheel upgrade!

I like the wheels, but my only concern is that they will looks less rugged/aggressive than my current wheels. but I found another 1st gen with them on this forum and they looked good on the guys truck.
