He'll test drive it and somehow the wheels will be different when it returns.

I can feel the creak with my foot on the clutch but the sound is outside the cab mainly by the tranny. Guess per this post I need to try and lube the "pivot point of the 'shift fork'"

I hope you're right! Just so we know another way to search for those wheels. They do look better in that gun metal color it looks like. And they actually look a bit better on the taco than they do the Runner
Sorry man it was late and I was dozing off last night hermano. You're definitely on to something though

Man..... EVERYONE says the 100 series is so blah for them. But I really love it man. I think the body style goes perfect for what it is. I dunno. I'm so far gone and biased towards Cruisers though.
At that price it's really hard to go wrong. The way you'd go wrong is if all the PM needs to be caught up. Also the LX uses this hydraulic globe suspension system that can be a pain later in the years. Some guys just remove that stuff and run the OME lift when the OEM suspension starts needing money/repairs.
I like the front end of those... I know :anonymous:I have terrible taste.... I'm comfortable with my bad tastes though:cool::D

sounds like a rusted metal creak. It's only at a certain point of the clutch returning and sounds nasty lol. Will lube it all up once I get a chance

Those are the right terms? I didn't know we knew that yet:anonymous:
I can be a lil slow. So it's just a wait game until they pop up unless you wanna browse hundreds of ads of peep that just list them as 4Runner wheels, not knowing they're chrome edition wheel. Lol
So are they OEM Toyota? Or dealership swap-ones?

Um yeah, interior is rough lol
We see enough of the high mileage 100s here that they're pretty damn affordable, especially for how much vehicle your getting for the price. Unbelievable.

Comparing that 4runner pic with the wheels definitely makes them look a bit more blah or common whatever compared to thisTAco_zps18df894e.jpg

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I bet they have only the interior detailing charge into it. That was a good will trade, they maybe put 1500 down on some POS Kia on the lot. If that was my dealership that POS would have gone straight to wholesale auction, only reason it hasn't is because that probably costs more than it's worth after auction fees. Not a bad buy, but it's trashed for a luxury vehicle.

That's exactly what happens. They took it in for a thousand bucks on trade and some salesman or dealer worker heard from Uncle JimBob that those are just Land Cruisers with a Lexus badge and someone will pay for it.
As thrashed as it is I'm surprised it's being sold at a new car dealership. Typically sent along to auction like you say for the vampire used car dealer to clean up and find a sucker for it.
For CS_AR though it might be a decent idea to check out if not too far out of the way, just for familiarizing himself with the 100 series and stuff.
But seeing the care it's had I'd be very hesitant to trust that the maintenance has been kept up

I wouldn't offer over $2,800 for it - that is if it is solid mechanically. Hunting truck material. I do see leather replacement seat cushions for $150 or less. If it is still running the active suspension, then convert it to good conventional lift.

Did that year use a chip key? Immobilizers become a problem on older vehicles.
