The girth of the bed and how it’s used come into play too, I hear. Also, I’m pretty sure Real Men don’t exist anymore except in caricature and old movies.

Long beds look ridiculous. You should only get one if you really need it. Even then you should lift it and put some bigger tires on to make it even acceptable. I've seen like 3 out of 20,000 Tacoma's I've seen so I'm certainly not in the minority. Don't even get me started on access cabs unless you're over 60 either. :infantry:

I think that los a personal opinion, I think the long bed is more proportional. The front looks huge with a short bed. They are both nice though. To me the short bed looks younger, more playful. The long bed looks more utilitarian.

I think ultimately the decision should be based on the use you want to give the truck.

if off roaring is your thing a short bed might serve you better.

if hauling stuff is your everyday thing then get the long bed.

    They both look bad ass.

I totally disagree that a lb looks ridiculous.

I could also say that about the short bed.
at times it looks like a semi truck with no trailer. Very snouty

I think they both look ok. It’s more of a utilitarian decision.

I must agree. All of the sudden an already short 6 ft bed looks “ridiculous “

I think an 8 ft double cab tundra bed looks rediculous, neighbor had one, plain ugly.

The parking thing cracks me up, the most.... I got a short bed, because It's easier to park and turn in the city... Check your skirt's at the door boy's, and pick up a man card.

BY the way for anyone saying that 1 foot doesnt make a difference.

    5/6 = .83
    .83 x 100 = 83
    100 - 83 = 17

the 6ft bed is 17% bigger than the 5 foot bed.
