X2 and to add (about the MDX): navigation, heated seats, rear camera and picture that comes on the navi screen, passenger side mirror that automatically pivots to look down at the curb as you back-up, garage door buttons, bluetooth, voice prompting, etc. Sunroof/moonroof, rear disc brakes, All wheel drive.... did I miss anything? :D

Our 2001 corvette has all sorts of buttons to see all sorts of engine information - like oil pressure, tranny temp, coolant temp, tire pressure (each tire), and you can read & clear engine codes, oil life left (percentage instead of miles)

But of course, if the Tacoma had all these things - it would cost just as much as the MDX does - close to $40,000.

I would like to have an automatic climate control system like in my Acura. I set the temperature and the system does whatever it has to to get to and keep the temperature. This works great with a remote start system.

I would like my truck to have the option to be rattle/weird noise free.

Beside that, climate controle should be a must for the price we pay.I don't think that would be that much expensive, the temperature controler is already electronic. It's like adding a cruise control on a throttle-by-wire car.

Having the option to have an actually powerfull sound system should also be a must, whatever the price that would be.

heated mirrors would be nice, especially going into this time of year, no glare mirrors like the rear view would be nice as well. Built in fuel computers are awesome too.

My Jetta has heated mirrors and auto up/down windows. The windows can also be opened or closed by using the key in the door.

My '07 Jeep Wrangler has a manual transfer case shift lever (as do all of them through '11). I would prefer that on my Tacoma, wish they hadn't changed that from the 1st gens. Front locker is also something the Taco could benefit from.

My 05 just passed 50k.. No noises or rattles to speak of.. I honestly think Toyota does pretty well with this compared to other car manufacturers (try riding in a GM that is 6 years old and compare).

I'd vote for that. I wanted a manual, but 6 speeds is too much shifting for a man my age. I can't imagine any reason for more than 4 speeds. A lot of it
is marketing hype--more speeds, so it must be better.
