That makes sense. Mine is pretty skiddish, any loud noises and she'll go running to hide.

 

my calico Maggie will do this a lot . Nestles her way under the covers and spoons lol. I took a nap on the couch the other day and I woke up to her hanging out


Normally, they all just sleep on top though. Like an assembly line of cat nappers.

Got a follow up email from the shelter: The folks that adopted Kevin (Big Tuna) will be returning him tomorrow. Waiting to get response on why that may be... : /

That's sucks, keep us updated. My wife and I were at our wits end with Bella and Breezy, but we were just gutted at the idea of giving up. We made a commitment to giving Bella a home and we were determined to see it through, for better or worse. A year later, things are much better, but it requires a lot of attention from us, distractions, and consistency from both of us. A four day trip away from them and our neighbors cat sitting seemed to gave a positive effect somehow.

So it will be interesting to know what they couldn't tolerate or work through. All too often, I think people realize cats can can more work than initially though, at least up front. Once everything is settled, its mostly easy going.

I certainly hope it's nothing serious, but rather they may have not been ready for a kitty.

He'll be up for adoption again, so yes.

Though, I want to know the skinny on things. As much as I enjoyed have his fluffy self around, I can't take on anything on that would be significant medical wise. My first dog cost me several $k right out of the gate, and I couldn't sustain that. Still recovering those costs. : /
