I have weird exhaust shop hangers and have been pleased. But the VatoZone one I put on the grey taco was kinda loosy goosy

 

If I had extra cash I'd buy the whole setup.

Otherwise next month I'm buying new manual hub axles and swapping in my front end setup.

 

I bet they get slippery with heat like poly usually does too

 

If theyre anything like my poly bushings I bet they squeak like a 100 year old spring mattress too

 

Yeah they're those ones made to fit a wide variety of applications so they don't work with any one application very well. Probably not very good rubber either

 

my buddy runs them on his miata. because it ate rubber hangers. no squeaks yet 2 years later.



but i'll just say, rubber hangers and a steel hose clamp around it works without issue too.... just stops them from bouncing around and pulling

Yeah I was mostly being facetious, it would just be my luck that poly hangars would squeak

 

its how i keep the exhaust on the f-350 from falling off... again

Oh, no doubt about that! After getting the floor laid, sanding, staining, and polyurethaning it. That’s no joke. I’m no proffessional, just a diy’er. It’ll take me a week at the minimum.

 

I use one of these universal hangars for the tailpipe end ever since I got the axle dump done... holds the tail pipe and bolts to the frame. Keeps it from swinging around and ruining the rubber hangars quickly

 

hose clamped rubber hangers have been going strong 2 years.

 

oh god those suck.

 

It's the only thing that's actually worked for...about a year now. The stock piece is long gone (cut off) and the metal rod the guy welded on after cutting the exhaust snapped as well

 

hmm you guys dont have rust.. out here your lucky to get a winter out of those before the rot and fall off

 

Haha yeah it is rusty actually just from rain and snow but if it was exposed to road salt I'm sure it wouldn't have lasted this long.
