Yeah 255 mm or 10.50 is narrowest I've seen in 33" diameter. They're used to exist BFG ATs is 33x9.50x15. That's what I ran on the Nissan pickup

I've seen 235 mud terrains on a 1st Gen, they didn't look bad.

What's odd is I have 4 STMaxx in 255/85r16 and my spare is the same size but a regular Cooper Discoverer AT ( not STMaxx). The spare is much more visibly skinnier than the rest, I measured it to be almost an inch narrower. Weird how even among the same size rating, different tires vary in actual size

Yeah I get that. Id do it myself but not having a spare vehicle anymore gets in the way of that. That and it looks like a pain to line up the shafts without scratching the shit out of them and the seals whilst on the driveway haha.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
I ran a CarFax on the 1999 LX470 and looked at the maintenance history. It had two owners.

1st Owner owned it from 10/98 to 6/99 in Palm Beach FL.

2nd Owner was local and owned it until they traded it December. No record of a timing belt change. I see a disturbing number of trips to the dealer for no start / no crank / starter ignition issues from early in the vehicles life. I don't know why the owner held onto it. After three of those incidents with me, it would be past tense. I don't want to get mixed up with a vehicle that saw so problems early in life. Not on a bet.

Its more than just that, I'll have to take a pic next time I remove it. Different brand 255s have different diameters too, Coopers are 32.8 and the Toyos are 33.1 according to Tirerack.com.

Not a big deal just interesting

tread plays a roll in that. width is typically more consistant than height.

Im only even considering having it done cause I want to put MT90 in the trans. But I dont know if new fluid will make it worse or not. Also thats expensive stuff to just have leak out haha.

I think and could be completely wrong here but doesn't @01x4 also run 235s?
