Over 40mph or with high wind gusts. The design of the fairing causes a bit of air to dam up under the fairing at the roofline and it can pulse a bit. I just turn up the radio :)

I didn't get any instructions and even had to call @upTOPOverland_Drew for help with the orientation of the light bar mounting brackets. The whole UpTop team was responsive and helpful (as always)!

Haven't noticed this. Had lights aren't installed yet but cruised between 50 and 70 for a good half hour today with music off and barely noticed a difference in sound. Might be a little worse when lights are installed in fairing.

We have a video on instagram highlights inside the cab to show wind noise. Also, if you are hearing wind noise reach out to Drew so we can help troubleshoot this issue.

I wish the meso rack was an option. That thing is sweet.

Make sure you guys are sealing up your thinfin correctly. And the holes on the back. Any water intrusion and the antenna is done.

Does the thin fin come with a plug for the unused hole in the thinfin or is everyone using silicone ?

What about a similarly designed fairing? I liked that it combined something more complimentary to the geometry of the truck (sort of like a Prinsu) but retained your signature wedge/airfoil design. Best of both worlds!

I didn’t get anything when I ordered mine. Not sure how Drew and those guys are handling it now. I know @MESO once said something about a plug, but I don’t remember exactly.

    Otherwise silicone. Or RTV.

I ordered a bunch of rubber plugs from Amazon. I will see how they fit and if it’s good I will be more than happy to send anyone some if they want any.

Quick question for all that got the thin fin package. Did you get a set of wires with a connector on one end, and a separate connector to attach to that?

Aside from sealing the unused hole in the back, what else did you seal up? The fin looked like it sealed enough.

Well I had to take my thinfin back apart, hence why I know my antenna is facked, and when I put it back together I used some dielectric grease on the seal and inside the thin fin to seal it up a bit better.

Maybe a silly question, but for those of you that have installed the rack, what do you do you the factory tape that covers the factory threaded holes in the drip rail? Did you just punch a hole in it for the bolt to go through or did you remove it entirely and make sure reseal well around the spacers?

I punched a small hole. I'd just leave it in place. It looks to be a flexible vinyl tape and adds another layer of protection from water intrusion as the body was painted OVER the tape.

I removed it landfilled the holes with RV Silicone like the instructions said just prior to threading the bolts into the rack. Seattle rain has never made it through. I did leave the factory gutter guards on also though and just punched holes through them.
