    Hey everyone,
You guys have been a source of huge help for years and I have finally made an account to get all your expert advice on my specific set up.
I have a 2006 DCSB with the manual transmission and an ARB bumper up front. I recently changed the front end set up. I got the camburg UCA with ball joints, Bilstein 5100 on 0” with OME 887 coils, and new stock lower control arms.
I tried to capture some pictures but after getting it aligned at Toyota, it is clearly not riding right. I ran it for the last 6 months like this since life has been crazy and it has killed my newish ridge grapplers. The best way I could describe it in words would be it looks like t-Rex arms up front all tucked in and riding on the outside edge of the tires.
What did I do wrong? What do I need to change to fix it? Look forward to hearing from all your collective smarts on this one. Please take it easy on me if I posted this wrong, first day. Haha.

BTW - it is getting a new frame and is time to do the back suspension as well so if you have suggestions for a reasonably priced kit to run all around would love to hear it.

I would look for a shop that will do a better alignment job and if they can't get it fixed you might want to look into LCAs

    Thanks Sasquatch,
So these parts should all line up right? I wasn’t crazy in pairing these?
    Also any recommendations on LCAs?
    Thanks again.

They all should line up fine. I've got total chaos UCAs with ome nitrochargers shocks and 886 coils with my stock lowers. Only issue I have is my truck pulls to the right a little due to Taco lean. The only LCAs I know of is total chaos. I haven't really looked too much since my lowers aren't giving me any issues for now

If your lcas are good they don’t need to be replaced. If there shot then yeah replace them. Then get a better alignment guy.

From the first pic it looks like you definitely have too much positive camber. This could be from the alignment guy being lazy or from the adjustments already being maxed out and he got it as close as he could. If that is the case you may have to go with something like spc adjustable upper control arms to get you back within spec. Either way you’re alignment guy should have given you a before and after print out and explained anything that was still out of spec.

How are you getting a new frame past the recall deadline?

Looks like according to Camburg getting caster and camber correct with their arms should not be an issue. If that’s the case. The alignment guy wasn’t any good it appears.

Wow, how much lift did you end up with? Are you over 3 inches? Looks like a good setup.

you Need more weight up front to get deeper in your suspension or shorter coils is my guess.everyone says you need 887 w a bumper but honestly without a winch and cable you are too light to compress the springs. I’ve seen this issue on 2 different trucks now with your basic setup.

There is confusing info on those one springs. Says one thing, behaves differently. I’m oME nitro struts and 886 coils w tc uca. Have arb bumper and warn winch w synth cable. Took almost a year for the spring to soften to that load even.

    Thanks guys for the help.
I will look into adding some weight up front. Sounds like more fun than replacing perfectly good parts.
I am getting the frame since it was approved during the recall but they are dragging their butts on getting it done.

I am currently sitting at 24” from hub to fender which is 3.5” of lift I believe from stock I believe.

    any suggestions on winches?

3.5 is why your toes are turning in. Definitely need to get your front end down a bit. What are you at in the rear?

Also worth mentioning, when you get your new frame, they’re gonna give you new LCAs and new alignment cams.

I am about 25.25” center of bub to fender in the rear. I think that’s about 3” lift. I never changed the rear leaf pack from whatever the original owner put in but it is definitely overkill and rides crazy stiff so I am happy changing that if there are suggestions out there. The rear struts are now done anyway.

Any other suggestions for getting front end down besides a winch or is that the best option?

thanks again everyone! No better support out there!

Winch or change your coils are your best options I think

If I change the coils are the 885 the best option for 3 inches of lift? Thanks again

886 coils might be fine. It should soften the ride a bit in time. I still have my oem front bumper so it's a stiff ride for me right now lol

That’s interesting with the 886 coil you are running Sasquatch. I originally had the 886 installed on this set up when they first sent it to me and they had it loaded on the first setting of the 5100. They said that’s what they normally did for 3 inches of lift but it put mine up at like 6 inches. It was ridiculous so I exchanged them for the 887 since it is a softer spring rate I thought.
    thanks again for the help.
Might swap out for the 885
