I didn't read the article but one of our crews was stopped 4 vehicles back from the scene once police and aid were there and he said the cow was still just standing in the middle of the road after.

Probably the hardest part of exploring around Utah, a lot of the DNR land has free range cattle. Had a few close calls coming around corners

What I’m trying to say; cows are dumb. We raised them for beef my whole life and they do the weirdest stuff

    Typical.

At least one driver was killed closer to Fall City late 2019. Buddy's car was totalled when he was rear ended executing a left turn off 202. The whole thing from Redmond border through Fall City past the circle, past the shooting range, the falls, all of it watch the fck out! can't use it as a race track anymore.

All of those roads around Duvall, Fall City, Snohomish, Cathcart, Clearview, etc... used to be my favorite motorcycle roads. Haven't been out there in a couple years... sounds like I should stay away.

People are spreading like the plague. Obvious solution is to not build roads.:crapstorm:

Yeah, it's definitely gotten worse over the last 20yrs since I first got my license. Guard rails everywhere, the county/dot does piss poor job in the spring time clearing intersection corners of tall grass and new growth brush. Six or seven years ago there was a local who was killed when he got tboned turning onto 202 at alderra baseball fields when he couldn't see more than 20' either direction because of the grass. Literally the next day the county was there mowing it down. Add to the fact urban sprawl is real and moving a lot quicker than predicted and the road system hasn't changed one bit to accommodate it.

Who remembers when highway 18 used to have stop lights on it? That was back when you would pass maybe 5 people on the looooonnnng drive from snoqualmie to Auburn or anywhere along that highway. When Covington was just a fraction of the size it is now. Nothing but trees around SIR, and slowly more and more people complain about the noise, when no one forced them to buy a house,

NEXT TO A FUCKING RACE TRACK! o_O

    Pepperidge Farm remembers... :tumbleweed:

I'm pretty sure the residents of Monroe are complaining about the race track up there too...

As an avid cyclist, I used to ride all these roads daily training for races. The biggest scare 10 years ago was double wides blowing you off the road, and the occasional idiotnthat that it was funny to honk while driving by.

Now with all the texting, I won't touch those roads on my bike... much worse than cows!

Funny, I was just thinking it was time to put the Ducati up for sale. I don't like riding on the road either (shitty road conditions, idiotic/careless drivers, drivers that simply hate motorcyclists, etc.) and much prefer track days. But my schedule for the past two years hasn't really allowed for that either.:(
