and if i do pork out the big front end suspension pieces i better not feel one damn bump on the awful washerboard streets in my location
this Mayor we have has her panties all up in a bunch and cannot seem to repair roads properly, its insane
she has the money to do so, not sure where the heck it all goes!

its either bad materials she is buying or really incompetent workers doing the job wrong


not to mention what the state has not been doing to repair the major interstate highway through town!
its like driving in a 3rd world country any more
hitting a huge hole at 70mph is not a good experience

 

Yeah I think most indie shops wouldn't report their work to a database. But I have seen shops use that timing sticker for the change interval info, and that's what I've filled out and stuck on the timing cover as well

 

It's ok to spend $93 as many times as you want.

This is why I steer AROUND potholes. Turn up the radio and your eyes will compensate by focusing you attention on the road. Don't worry about sirens you will also get the superpower to see flashing red and blue warning as well as spotting potholes under snow, ice and water.

But this is about what road! I'm stoked for him. Sounds like they have years of practice already done and will have a couple more til it happens.

@GQ7227 reschedule your alignment till you replace the UCAs ,LBJs, bushings, coilovers etc. THEN schedule an alignment. Your Taco is past due for an upgrade. Peace of mind is far more valuable than $$$$

 

these holes are ALL OVER I-80 through town, no way to avoid them without straddling and getting into the other lane of fast moving traffic!

it rides so smooth on smooth well paved roads still but IDK

@GQ7227 Straddle the potholes, steer around them, the traffic following too closely behind you will love you for it. Turn on your HAZARD warning lights, that's what their for. REMEMBER you own the road, you paid to build it and maintain it properly.

 

the other road goes by the interstate, L street, is nothing but a washboard for 5-10 miles

this is what i deal with on a daily basis for a couple years now!

 

the roads in Iowa are definitely in better condition 'mostly'

 

i cannot find any deets on scheduled maintenance for suspension parts
mechanics cannot tell me either when they should be replaced on time elapsed or miles driven

i would know if the rear shocks need changed from the bounce test, but IDK about the front!
