We love our GX. It needs a few things but I think we are going to end up with another down the road. A GX460 this time, but same/same. It's just nice. Nothing fancy. Does everything well.

 

We got a few inches of snow here over night.

did Toyota fix the front turn signals for the 3rd gens, from what the 2nd gen has

the 2nd gen front turn signal i think is a major hazard if you are not aware of it
i know you have signals in the mirror housings which is cool

 

Not sure to what your referring to, but these are totally different headlights on the 2020 than even on the 2019. LED high/low beams. LED fog's and a LED daytime running light that is also the turn signal. That is also "sequential".

 

ok what i am referring to is having the front turn signal RIGHT next to the headlights
at night it is nearly impossible (for me at least) to see the turn signal with the glare of headlights from a distance
its potentially hazardous for oncoming traffic to not readily see someone wanting to turn left in front of them on the highway at night just something i observed recently

i paid some extra to customize my truck when i needed to get it Line-Xd last year
it came out pretty well i think

but i should look into getting a bed mat like that right there and cut it to fit?

Then Softopper and wheels and tires after that. Hopefully have it all done by summer.

Just double checked, sucks if I have to order off the parts website because I think I have to pay shipping. Closest dealer that does delivery/pickup from the website is 120 miles away.

Yeah, they are like Chicagoland area mostly.

 

i order a lot from Camelback in AZ
so far their shipping is a flat $20 so i try to order lots of little stuff in one order
if you need an item i can add to order and transport it to you or halfway to DSM

 

Battery died in the GX just now. Had to go jump the wife (lol), no pun intended. I think it’s the original from 2008! Lol

 

Impressed it lasted that long! I’ve already swapped the battery in both my trucks to x2power 27f. Also have a jump pack in both trucks (GB70)

I’ve been too many places that I’m not gonna chance getting stuck by a stupid battery.
