Sounds weird but, works... hold the remote to touch your chin with it, then press the button, to double your distance.

Is there any 3rd gen mod for when the DRL is on the interior cluster lights can be lit up as well?
As interior cluster lights only glow when headlights or parking light switches are turned on.

Unfortunately on my 2020 I have found that only affects the brightness with the lights On, which is why the OP was asking.

I noticed that my transmission cable is rubbing against a bolt on the transfer case. At only 25,000 miles it has worn a fairly deep spot on the cable. So I took some pliers and slightly twisted the cable bracket so the cable does not rub the bolt. 20200428_161945.jpg 20200428_161953.jpg 20200428_162041.jpg 20200428_162052.jpg

I recall someone on here mentioning how in the engine compartment a hose is rubbing on a bolt. Does anyone know what hose and where?

Thanks, never knew about the Carista app and functions, been hanging out under this rock for too long I guess. Did find this helpful video first search as well so figured post it here if anyone else ends up in same boat as I was.

    Two things...

    1) Since I'm not a gear head, but willing to do simple mods on my own or under supervision of qualified friends, can you provide simple diagram of where this would be? I don't know exactly what we're looking at or where exactly to find it.

    2) I think the hose that you're referring to is under your engine cover. Someone showed it to me once and I still haven't trimmed the metal bar on mine yet. See photo below...

Yes, sorry for the slow response. You crawl under the driver's side door. Look up towards the floor in between the frame rail and the drivetrain and then towards the transmission. All on the driver's side. You will see the cable. It is partially shrouded in a shiny metal covering. You will see where it rubs against a bolt on the transfer case.

Thank you for this. I checked my 2020 TRD OR and at just 98 miles it had already rubbed a hole through the shiny metal heat shielding surrounding the cable. I tweaked my cable bracket some, but I also added some rubber hose.

Nearly @ 1000 miles now and all is well. This should honestly be a TSB.
