I agree, you have to shop as Amazon is often higher than other sources, however Prime's free shipping usually balances out the scales on most items at least that's what I've found.

Typical scenario I find, you need an item Amazon sells for $20 (free Prime next day shipping) you can find it elsewhere for $17, however they add $8 shipping.

I got my OEM bed mat off Amazon and it’s been great. I really dislike the Toyota dealer near me, so I’m never over there. The next closest one, I really like and my truck came from there originally. Only problem is that it’s ~2 hours away.

Yeah! F*ck that guy and his company that gives up endless options, competitive pricing, and free 2-day shipping. I would rather stroll around The Zone where no one knows about cars or parts. Better yet, hanging out with the people of Wal-Mart.

I wasn't quoting you, and I'm just messing around. Most OEM things I get from Amazon have OEM boxes and even dealer shipping info, so you're basically getting it from the dealer, just cheaper.

For real, half the people crying about Amazon prices don't even realize that all the bullshit prices on Amazon are from the dealerships lol. So many people capable of talking shit but can't even read who the seller is.

This is where I take issue with Amazon on some items. In some cases they won't tell you where it is shipping from i.e. country of origin. I've bought a few non-automotive items that ended up shipping from China. It's not always a deal breaker that it's from China, but when you find out after the fact that you won't see it for weeks.

Calling out Amazon on bullshit is just as polarizing at calling out Tesla, Toyota, etc on bullshit, people get hurt because they're so emotionally invested in these brands

I'm with you, man. I almost exclusively purchase only if it's Prime shipping or the seller has a decent return policy. I have a lot of buyer's remorse, but luckily Amazon has a 30 day return policy...

I recently bought a bakflip MX4. I looked on Amazon first found a decent price was going to buy it logged in to my wife’s prime account to get free shipping and it was $50 more than without a prime membership and shipping added. Ended up buying it from another website for cheaper than the first price I found on Amazon.

tldr: Amazon is not always cheaper or faster shipping, shop around.

That's a good way to look at it.

Heaps of people don't read the return policy though and a lot of companies that sell thru Amazon don't offer free return shipping. I think all Prime stuff normally is though, as long as it goes back to Amazon's warehouse and not to a merchant.

AMAZON Warehouse deals are great too, usually the item has damage to the box or packaging so AMAZON sells them a reduced cost best thing tho if you receive the item and are not satisfied for any reason you get free return shipping and most times shipping to you is also free

Dude seriously do you work for Amazon or what. You have done nothing but put those of us down who don’t use Amazon or who screwed them over using their game. But you think Amazon doing it to us is good? Color me confused? Do what you like and don’t spend your time caring about what others do so much your life will be less complicated:cheers:

Wow project much... it’s my money and I’m picky about who I give it too so why do you care honestly. I research everything before I buy it that’s called common sense which apparently is not so common any more. Guess I’m showing my age.
