Good info on the suspension improvement and pics as well. I went with the RMAS system instead.

“let’s waste more material, resources, etc to make a new plate..”

DMV logic, So dumb. I get $50 for a custom plate upfront, but to make me come in and waste everyone’s time (and money) if I don’t want to pay the yearly fee literally just shows why this state is in so much debt lol.

i bet you half the people who get a custom plate go back to a regular one when registration time comes anyways.

In Ontario we just purchase a yearly sticker that goes on the plate and this can be done online in advance and then it gets mailed.

what are you referring to exactly? I’m talking about actually having to surrender my black and yellow plates for regular plates when not wanting to renew it, i.e. - them wasting tax payer money to give/make me new plates.

I’m not talking about registration - that gets sent in the mail here too

Could you not keep your plates as a "souvenir"?

In Florida, depending on what plate your personalization goes on it’s 50-75 bucks and something like $15 a year on top of your normal registration fees. I ordered mine, still have at least a few more weeks till it gets here. The lady at the tax collectors office told me the length of time depends on how many people are in prison at the time you order it since they’re making the plates

You never get good deals at the police station. All of the good deals happen out behind the bar.

Installed the Joying Head Unit. So far so good. Carplay works wired or wireless just a little finicky and trying to figure out the sweet spot, backup camera works, had to install the GPS puck but tucked that under the dash as I could not get the one in the car to work with the GPS part suggested. Thanks to this forum with all the tips made the swap easy.
