his 01 has it and had 4WD so we know we can rule out the ADD system. I do NOT have ABS but I think we ruled that out as well since that is on the passenger side.

I wonder if it’s for the fog lights that our trucks never got? Maybe a 4runner is the answer

 

I think all of mine have had the evap pressure sensor there and use a tiny connector.

 

Mine has that. But this is literally right out of the firewall. I have a feeling is an 01-02 thing. I can’t get the keys to the 98 at work atm to check. Hell it might be something for the 4 bangers for all I know.

 

Isn’t even any mention of it in the manuals

 

Well grab a test light and see what it does. Pull fuses until it stops doing whatever. Thatll ballpark it

It comes out of another subharness and loops elsewhere. Follow it perhaps?

 

Thinking I may replace my T-stat when I do the plugs next month. Any special orientation with the jiggle valve I need to worry about on the 3RZ?

 

It’s the main engine room harness that goes into the interior fuse box and the exterior box. I checked continuity to all the fuses and nothing.

 

Maybe just a test point then, my LC has three connectors that are just used to check circuits

 

That’s that I’m thinking but I’m not sure. I thought it might of been an short pin. But I’m not willing to try
