Hi guys, just replaced the front needle bearing and vibrations around the 30-40 mph range are still present. Sometimes is a few seconds of vibration, sometimes it feels like its stalling or rumbling.
Any advice on what to check next?

Possible culprit: The right side cv boot ripped a while ago but hasn't made any noise yet. Could that be causing the vibrations?

Welcome to TW! Did you have any vibes before replacing the needle bearing?

Yes, same exact vibrations. These vibrations occur when I accelerate slowly past 30 mph but not when I do a hard acceleration.

Carrier bearing drop kit or rear axle shims are next on the list to help with the vibes then.

Thanks! That carrier/center support bushings seems to have a good bit of play up and down when I push it, could it be that?

Also, your putting out some pretty cool content on Youtube. Will continue to watch.

Thanks for watching! Yes it could be, but you can also get vibes even when your carrier bearing is still tight. That drop kit just helps get the factory geometry back. Same for the axle shims but the carrier bearing kit is much easier to install so I'd start with that and see if it helps.

Drop kit installed, vibrations still there. Any other possible culprits? I froze that ECGS bearing overnight. Could that have messed with the bearing? Vibration right under my driver seat. Again, appreciate any help.

I wouldn't think freezing the bearing would do anything since it's going to be exposed to cold temps anyway when installed on the truck. Have you tried the axle shims yet?

Not yet but my 2 inch block lift does have an angle on them currently. I figured they must have factored in the angle when making the lift.

By needle bearings, I am assuming you mean u-joint needle bearings... You put new needles in an old cup or replaced the u-joint entirely?

I'm discussing the front axle needle bearing. I replaced it and still have front end vibration. I have not touched the u-joints yet.

Think he’s talking about the front diff. I meant did the vibes start after anything was done to the truck? Like the lift or maintenance or whatever

Can you grease them? There are many things that can cause vibes such as worn u-joints, shot carrier bearing or torque converter shutter.

If you remove the rear drive shaft and go for a drive and it goes away you’ll know it’s because of sth in the rear shaft... ujoints, carrier bearing or balance weights missing or it could be dented etc
