Evening all. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas.

Wife and I made it down to Little island park in Sandbridge, Christmas day (never been there). Kiddo wanted to hang with friends which was fine by us. We did the same as kids as we got older.

We did take a side trip on to Norfolk Naval base. Wifey wanted a Tom Hortons coffee. I tried to tell her it was closed, but she didn’t wanna hear that. Said that the internets says they are open. I tell her it’s a holiday and it closed.

After a little discussion..... screw it lets go.

After finding an open gate, we venture in and drive all over the place to get to it. Well what do ya know..... closed. Haha.

I got the, ok you were right. Then we carry on with the mission.

We did stop at the shoppet cause it was open. Did find a salsa that we never heard of. Had to grab it. Pretty damn tastie too.

Right on! We passed through the area.

I spotted a tan 3rd gen with a slim line front bumper and winch while driving back up General Booth towards Oceana.. Wife said, that guy keeps staring at you. We were both going the same direction. No idea who it was.

Anyone have a recommendation for a shop that can paint a camper shell? My first quote was $600, wondering if that is the standard rate or not.

That is about right for running it thru a bodyshop. However, sometimes a painter may do it "on the side" after hours for cheaper.

Have you considered wrapping it? I don’t know what the price is but might be worth checking out.

Went over to Cabelas to use some of the gift card from my daughter and boyfriend.

Picked up a couple plano sportsmen boxes and a small SOG kit.

When I say small, I mean small. The E-tool is an oversized big spoon. Haha. That is exaggeration of course, but damn sure not full size.

Something to keep in the truck if ever needed for anything.
