Took it in to the dealer and had the seat belt chime :lalala:disabled.

Removed the TRD decals. I like it even more without them!20200104_153650.jpg

I finished the rock sliders today with the driver side. It wasn't quite as easy as the passenger side but it wasn't bad.

I love this kind of wrenching. It takes most of the afternoon when I do it myself. I can throw on my music and get those ratchets clicking.

They look great too. I didn't really expect how good they would look.

Excuse all the mud and dirt. I'm really not sure how that got on there.

Thank you @CaliRaisedLed. These are great!

How was the install on the lock? For the OEM bed lights have an on/off switch or are they turned on some other way?

Dont mean to butt in and not sure exactly what you're installing but I installed some do it yourself puddle lights in my mirrors that I connected in the A pillar. If I recall correctly the blue wire was the positive and the yellow was the negative. They light up as I approach the truck and stay on as long as the door is open. Hope this helps.

I just got my cap. After a 6 week wait it was highly anticipated and I am very pleased with how it looks. Any advice on cool storage solutions for the bed with a cap?

Nope. Had to give them my old plates to get the new ones.
I saw that sticker on Amazon and almost pulled the trigger but I’m 5 speed aha.

I had to remove them to install the brackets for the extender. I just snapped a pic before I tightened the bolts down and put everything back together.

Lock wasn’t bad at all. Hardest part for me was getting my hands in between the truck and tailgate when I put the new harness in there. I had about 20-30 zip ties left over when I was done. They give you enough to put one about every 3”! The bed lights work with the cargo lamp switch. They come on when I open a door or unlock the truck and can also be turned on from the cab. Hope that helps!

I just had the truck at the dealer this morning for the 25k mile service. I should have asked about that. Didn’t know it was a thing. Did they charge you to disable it?

I made it a condition of sale when I bought my truck. That and no dealership sticker.

They did not charge me as I had bought it the day before and they said that changing the settings on a new vehicle was a courtesy they provide. They have impressed both me and my wife. Our salesman at Grant's Pass Toyota, Sean Lewis, was very personable. He saw us in the dealership today but was busy closing a deal and he called me later just to make sure that everything was o.k. with our new ride.

It's worth a try to see if they will disable it for you.

Added a jump starter to my on board emergency kit. PEP Boys was $40 cheaper than anywhere else when ordered online.
