Was told I should get about 2 inches of lift. Help

Really? I was told “DO NOT” do that. Since these springs should be taller than the stock ones they should add 2 inches on the bottom notch. And if I preloaded them on the highest notch it would be a stiff ride.

Ur right about lowest perch. I did it with 888s and got 2.5 inches. Did you install yourself?

I had the springs put on the strut at ORW but I installed the Coilover on the truck. There’s no special way to do it, is there? Just take the old one out and bolt the new one in? That’s how I’ve always done it and never had any issues.

Zero setting is correct with OME springs. Is the spring perch (or whatever it's called) oriented properly?

Highest perch on 5100's with 887's would be murder.

Doesn't seem right, do you have pics?

What happened to your old springs? What if they put your stocks springs back on the 5100s?!

I thought about that but unless they’re experts at repainting springs in 20 minutes it’s highly unlikely lol.

Didn’t know about the spring length difference. Also true about the preload.
    Good luck figuring this out.

    Pics or it didn't happen.

Are you sure you got 887 springs and not 884s or 885s?

Even worse. The SB usually gets more height compared to LB with equal set up.

    Work in progress...
I don't know, I got about 2 inch lift from the same spring/shock on the same truck.
