Both really good games today. Pretty epic in fact. I hope the NFC delivers as well mañana.

Why would they? They are going to play the Texans anyway.

They've had a lot of practice. But really, announcers are always about whatever hype they can generate. It could have been Patrick Fitzryan out there and they'd be in to the lips.

My oldest son moved to Boston a year ago, careful. Well he is 31 and I tried to warn him... My youngest sister and her husband also moved to Boston she was an early hire at EMC2. They now live in the Triad area of NC. But the Boston thing followed them. Not in a good way.

Hate to say it about my youngest baby sister but Flatlander comes to mind. City folks now. They create a lot of tension with the rest of the family. I always try to tell them it is just a game football or hockey. But it is a lot more than that in reality. FIB comes to mind. Fucking Illinois Bastards.

And this why America hates New England. In general.

Not going to get into all of it. Unless you want me to then I will with both feet.

    New England...

We really don't care how you do it down there in Taxachussuts. Or in the South it would be called we don't give a damn how you do it "Up North".

Just watched some of the 100 NFL all time. Great show with some of the best interview moments I can recall. Makes it very hard not to appreciate all the talent and growth the game has seen. Every team should have a similar show for their players. Either that or an NFL history channel show dedicated not to the greatest games played or famous players but honoring those that we rooted for in more obscurity. Many great players never made championship teams.

I am impressed that you are from the West Coast and realize that. And I agree. The time difference makes a difference IMO and one of the reasons the NFL kind of struggles on the West Coast. Or used to. Wait what is this Las Vegas thing?!

Was stationed in San Diego. Hawaii (the rock). Alameda, Ca. And the West Coast of Puget Sound in Wa. State when Seattle was an Expansion Team. We used to call them the Sea Chickens back them. Always pulled for them but Expansion teams were a joke back in the day. Always kind of backed the local team where ever I lived. Next to the Bills. It is a big Country. And a great Country!

Did my Twilight tour in the Navy before I retired in Western NC on recruiting duty. MEPS was in Charlotte. Watched the Panther stadium being built from the loading dock of the Federal Building in downtown Charlotte while smoking a Cigar when I had applicants on deck. Bill Polian left Buffalo to build the Panthers and did a hell of job. Lot of Bills backers that had moved there and called them the Bills South. They came out of the gate at a lot higher level than previous expansion teams.

Today's world salary cap, and level playing field. It is the theory anyhow. Then there is the Pats. I used to like them back when Jim Plunkett was the quarterback :anonymous:

The time difference would be better for me. Maybe it’s not as bad for you since you’re central time but night games really suck on the East Coast. Sunday/Monday night games don’t end until almost midnight. Also, 1:00 games are right in the middle of the day. You know how many games I miss because of some stupid birthday party or baby shower or some other event I don’t wanna go to? Answer: most of them. I’d much rather have kickoff at 10:00am and night game start at 5:30pm. Shit even baseball is starting games at 6:30 now. 8:30pm kickoff is too damn late. I’m tired as fuck from watching the Patriots lose then having to get up at 5:45am with my vampire kids.
