Well if you want to live somewhere with less transients let me give you a tip...

Quit looking at metro areas ;)

Billings isn’t exactly metro and it has them. Oh I’m coming Montana! Give me 40 and a mule. Though actually AK will be home too, got family there.

It is for here. It's the largest city in all of Montana.

Bozeman is half as big but 4x the rich people.

Might take a trip to Alaska this summer. Wife’s aunt and uncle own a fish camp on the Kenai peninsula. I lived in Sitka for 6 years growing up. Only negatives for moving to Alaska is it’s so far away from family and dark in the winters.

ha nice. I have family up there(was born there) and also grew up fishing on the Kenai. Still have a cabin there(well grandpa does).

Cost of living is very high there too. But cool place, very different. And yes better be at peace with long dark winters.

Really you should be looking in ID or Wy..

Rich people in Billings too, but they got rich there vs being out of state movie stars or whatever they got in Bozeman. Was there for a baseball camp (my son) and damn there was some fancy stores downtown. Oil money I guess. There was a temp inversion and the whole town below the rim smelled like a gas station.

lol biggest city or not... def not metro. Try living outside a truly metro area. Comparatively, not many transients here compared to Honolulu for example. A lot for the city, yes. The bigger issue is the meth heads though.

I complain about some of the conditions but it’s 100x worse in places like NYC, Seattle and Philadelphia. It’s just changed so much since I grew up here. Yes actually grew up, not moved at age 8 or anything like that.

I hate to bring it up but I need to point it out that everywhere liberal policies have taken root have turned into shithole's. You need look no farther than San Fran,Seattle,Detroit,NYC,Chicago,D.C. and Baltimore to name a few... all shining examples of liberal policies working their magic....Then to top it off the affluent people that voted in these policies trying to save the world flee the area leaving the less fortunate to suffer the results and infect their new home with their ideology.

Let’s try to keep this debate non political, everyone has their own views man we don’t need to discourage people from posting here because they have a view other than yours. We also don’t want to start arguments.

Idaho, yes, Wyoming, still needs more infrastructure and a little bit more people, little bit to remote for me at the moment ha. But I went to thermapolis to see the silent eclipse in totality the other year there and that was amazing

Well im 19 now law just was passed what 2 weeks ago to help prevent the gov shutdown and so fourth, and I’ve been over 18 for almost 2 years now, basically being grandfathered in means that people already 18 and above should be exempt, but future cases not yet 18 when the law was passed should not be exempt. Here’s the exact definition:

“A grandfather clause (or grandfatherpolicy or grandfathering) is a provision in which an old rule continues to apply to some existing situations while a new rule will apply to all future cases. Those exempt from the new rule are said to have grandfather rights or acquired rights, or to have been grandfathered in.”
