So I have the same issue as the OP. I have a 2011. I looked at the TSB and tryed to find that seam on my truck and don't see it. Not sure if I am not looking in the right spot or if thay changed that seam in 2011? I don't see Toyota changing it. Can someone help by pin pointing the seam a little closer? Thanks in advance!

Hey sorry to hear about the water leak but yeah unfortunately I think the TSB is only for 2005 models. However if I were you I would remove the passenger seat, take the glovebox out and pull up the carpet. Once that’s all done grab a hose or large jug of water and start pouring it all over the cowl, roof and front windshield. Really hope you end up finding the leak.

Well that explains why I couldn't find it. Lol I have had part of the carpet up on the passenger side, kick panal and glove box out. I did see a little bit of water running done the inner side wall but couldn't see were it was coming from. It is very exhausting and frustrating ! I will keep looking and doing my research. Thank you for your reply !

I have a 2011 aswell. Mine isn't coming from the cabin filter area. From what I can tell it's coming from some ware around side wall by the kick panel but not sure where. It is really annoying and pissing me off at this point. I have silaconed everything that ather members have mentioned.:mad:

OK so here is another spot to look into. I did a search on YouTube and found that behind the kick panel right under the glove box there is a black cabel with blue tape that come through a black grommet. On some the grommet was pushed through to the out side. Just pull it back in to the inside. These guys said it fixed there leak. I checked mine it was the way it should be but I when ahead and siliconed all around anyway. Time will tell. Hope is helps someone.

Body seams. Toyota replaced the frame approx. 2 yrs. ago. I found the body to frame bolt covers were not in place on both sides. Put them in place.
Several months ago I found the rear floor soaking wet on both sides. Leaving the floor mats out showed where the water drips from. So I will be looking for a cracked/open seam. Thank you.

Some one of you wonderful people suggested, turn fan on high to pressurize the cabin spray outside of wind screen with soapy water. TA DA!
Both upper corners blow bubbles. Now how to fix? Thank you.

Windshields does not have enough sealer under that upper seal outside - it was a common problem and my 09 got resealed by dealer and then when I got a new windshield I saw the crappy job the factory did installing the original. May be your issue and any good car glass shop knows of this on Tacomas and how to shoot more sealer and where. Most had a kazoo like sound/whistle at higher speed that IDed the issue.

Would you mind briefly explaining what the procedure was? Unfortunately the link is now dead and my truck is leaking like a sieve!
