They use them in Australia, you might try contacting a wrecking yard, dismantler, (Scrappi) I have some friends down under that may be able to help if you keep getting deadends

Goddamn...how’d I miss that?...I just got a bunch bunch of fuel hose from filler neck supply in October. I’ve spent a pretty decent amount of time in their site.

I think I might have plan for the fuel fillers. I’m going to put each one in front of and behind the wheel well.
The hoses will enter the bottom of the camper and come out the sides just above the wheel wells.
To prevent fuel fumes from getting into the camper I’m going to place the hoses inside PVC pipe where they are inside the camper and seal these from the outside. That way when I fill the tanks if a little gas dribbles down the hose it’ll still be “outside” the camper.
This is the current set up:
The main tank has extra lung hoses. They’re bungeed to the sliders. When you want to fill up you have to un-binge and hold the filler neck with your hand while you fill up.

The rear tank is even better!

I like them a lot. I’ve never used other brands of similar tools so I can’t compare.

Have you considered the 1/2” mid torque instead of the 3/8” mid torque + 1/2” high torque?

The 1/2” mid torque will take off anything on our trucks with no problem and it’s a bunch smaller.
I use a 1/2-3/8” adapter to use 3/8 sockets which is kinda rare. I just use it on its lower settings.

How does the 1/2” mid torque compare to the 3/8” torque at 600ft lb lb break torque.

The 3/8” impact and 1-2” mid look to produce the same specs but the 1/2” is bigger?

That sounds about right...600 foot pounds breaking torques.

Sounds like the 3/8” might be the way to go.

That was my thought, plus then I got the 1/2 for the real annoying things. Plus 3/8 torque sockets are 1/2 the price of the 1/2” lol I ordered both already. I like tekton from Amazon.

Took the truck for a drive today with the new mirror camera thing.
It’s so much better then when my truck had a regular mirror and just the stock bed.
The view angle is so wide I don’t have blind spots at all.

For insulation and structure I’m using Owens Corning Foamular 250.

The space the insulation is going in is 1” aluminum tube plus a layer of 3M CV62F commercial vehicle tape thats 1/16” on the inside and the outside for a total of
    1 1/8”.
No one makes 1 1/8” foam so I tracked down 2” foamular. I found one place that sells 2” and it was down the street from my where I work.
I have remove 7/8” off the thickness. And it has to be fairly even.

I bought 24 gauge nichrome wire
    image.jpg

Some 1/4” nuts and bolts, a spring and grabbed a pallet.
    image.jpg
I just hook up jumper cable from the battery and slide the foam down the pallet into the wire and it cuts the foam nice and clean.
