    Ok I have to disagree. I love the 01-04 design. But the 95-97 front end is beautiful too.



    98-00 is the failed abortion. (Sorry to those who like it)

    its totally doable. you need a hood, (i think fenders), and the grille at the least. i dont believe the core support had to be swapped

    the first gen tundra front end on the 1st gen taco looks soo much less out of place than the 2nd gen taco front end

    im not sure on the fenders. i just know the corner lights mounted differently on the 95-97

    I've reversed my order of liking too. Was about a year ago. I love how little the front end sticks out on the 95-97s. It's nice and compact and I like the variety of options those headlights offer(I'd just do a hid projector swap into blanks like 1997tacomav6 did) . And the 98-00 grew on me too. Couldn't tell you why, I think it's because it's still kinda boxy which I like and then the 01+ went soft and round, on the edges. Which I like least now but I still love them! It's just the order of how I like the Tacoma based on the front end. That's all I'm saying! Nobody need get butt hurt we love all tacomas:D:cool:

    personally. if i ever find another double cab taco that i can put my frame under. its getting the front end swapped to a 95-97 front end and im going full retro with it.



    and putting a 5 speed in it.
