This type of rear sight.

Has more springs and pins in the elevation/windage drum assembly then pretty much the entire lower reciever. Or atleast it seems that way haha.

my M16A1 has that setup. just without the elevation adjustment because A1. luckily i didnt have to fuck with that

most of my shit is irons (the bottom is the pistol... ignore it.. the 300 blkout and the .22 arent in the pic either.

 

No my ar is use able rn. But i want to change a few things still. Just havnt shot in forever so i dont spend money on it anymore

 

Yup. Just use a vice to press in all the pins. Dont screw around with punches. Unless you have a rollpin starter punch.

 

What do you need to change?

Pistol grip, or hand guard or buttstock each take like 2 mins

 

i use my flat jaw knipex pliers after lightly tapping the pin in. Works flawlessly and leaves no marks

 

unless your going to a full float rail.

 

Trigger and the buffer and buffer spring.
I dont have the parts and havent shot the gun in like 2 years. So I havnet changed anything

 

my heater blows so hot with no fan on, almost burned my hands today on the highway
had to test the 'fix' for the fresh air vent rattle that has bugged me to batKrapVille for probably 15k miles or maybe a bit more

30mph wind gusts should do the trick for testing
