Its a fun gun. I shoot at different ranges, so I used an A2 reciever. Each click of elevation is like 1.375" @ 100 yards thanks to the short sight radius and short barrel haha.

 

I only bought a ar because they were getting banned. I prefer Classic lever actions and bolt actions

You're the one that spread misinformation without stating how you are in fact, correct.

Due to pistols having a roster, the only new AR pistol one can obtain is the one made by Franklin Armory; it was approved via single shot exemption so it doesn't require the impossible micro stamp feature.

You also have manufacturer built AR pistols, that were never registered as a rifle before because as we all know, once a rifle always a rifle.

Anyway those can be transferred via means of private party, as long as it's still within the rules of magazine locked, no butt stock etc.

So now that I've explained how you can legally own one, explain how you can't.

Btw I'm at work so I had to drum up the legalities of firearm ownership via memory; have to remember...as someone that owns well over 100 firearms, I have to be well versed with what's legal and what isn't in the state of CA.
