    saturday morning my truck broke. all 4 bolts that hold the LCA to the spindle broke in half.

    im just glad it happened in the parking lot and not 10 min earlier when i was going 70 on the freeway.

    oh the perks of long travel...

    I feel your pain, literally. This was my truck a month ago. Picture taken at 10pm from the back of a tow truck. I was out in the hills, late, raining, and the steering was acting all weird...had to keep the steering wheel 1/4 turn to the left to keep going straight down the road. Made it 7 miles down the dirt road and another 5 miles or so on the highway before I got back into cell range to call a tow truck. By then I only had one bolt holding things together. Mechanic said the remaining bolt was bent about 10 degrees, wouldn't have lasted much longer. My lucky night I guess!
