I'm impressed with how often this thread is on the homepage, more of the dumbasses from the 3rd gen section don't wander in just to see what's up. They spread stupid like a wildfire in California, so you'd think we'd see more.

They must be afraid of offending their superiors

Funny cause I run across a lot in junkyards. Almost zero parts worth pulling cause of the 2.4 and the zero available options for the interior. And that stupid column shifter.

 

Why would any human do that to a truck let alone a Tacoma

Every exterminator and lawn care guys dream truck around here. Most are beat to hell and back. Most of the ones I see in junkyards have worse interiors than the exterior. Absolutely trashed.

I saw this one for cheep on Craigslist yesterday i was thinking of getting it for cheep I still have a cab sitting in my yard. And it's a 3.4

 

It was free to convert back to a 98. It's slot easier to align the hood as well.

I love all the versions the same.
