I agree, and thought it was BS. But I researched, with the possible intent to pick them up, and all I could find is that its not compatible.

 

Found some more stuff that won't work with the new truck: snow chains! If my truck had 245/70r19.5's instead of 225/70r19.5's they would work. Can't mount 245's on my current rims (the width spec is much more limited on commercial tires.) . I could probably make these work, but likely better to get proper fitting chains.

Will post to CL at some point, but giving those here first crack. Snow is in the forecast, plus all those snow runs being organized.....

The bag says they'll fit LT255/85r16 and LT265/75r16, but I have test fit them on the 285/75r16 KO2's I had and thought the fit was quite acceptable. I've had them for probably more than a decade, recall using them once (twice?), though you wouldn't believe it by looking at them.

O'Reilly lists them for $120. How about $50 for TW folks?
