I've been looking at a EdgeStar that's only around 20" wide but still holds two corny kegs. Comes set up with a rear mounted bottle. Haven't pulled the trigger yet.

What flavor of Belgian did you brew?

I’ve got at least three on the list to be brewed soon, a Belgian Pale Ale, a dubbel to practice adding fruit to beer, and I have the ingredients for a Westvleteren 12 clone from the Candi Syrup website.

Belgian strong ale. Recipe said the FG target is 1.016 so I wasn't that far off. This one was a sugar bomb in the primary.
Makes me reconsider getting a Tilt seeing how I don't draw samples through out the fermentation.

The eight year-old me still reckons that since Christmas is over, it should be summer

Well, it is not. Pissing rain, windy and 2 degrees Celsius. Sigh.

And if i drive anywhere that it isn't raining...well, it is snowing.

When i was a kid, I read a novel by Robert A. Heinlein....'The Door Into Summer'. One of the subplots was where the protagonist had a cat, and they lived in a house with 27 doors. The cat - Pete - hated winter as much as I do, and insisted on checking each and every door, looking for that door into summer....

I did that today too. It didn't work.

So, instead, I fell of the post-Christmas wagon and am thoroughly enjoying an evening libation

Wonderful stuff. Best part, is the brewery has found a use for those $%&#&$ blackberries that haunt us every summer
