They're still wrapped in plastic. I was just trying to be proactive. I don't have any problems.

Gotcha, obviously you're free to do as you will then. But if you do happen to have condensation in the lights later down the road, just give the good man a PM.

What was the secret to getting the boot off the cab (between the door and cab)? I could not get it out.

also had 2 issues with my lights (sent MESO an email, awaiting a reply). Light wiring harness was damaged (pins don’t line up with the other harness) and wouldn’t allow me to connect the two, and there is a noticeable gap between the meso trim piece and the factory part of the side mirror. anyone else have those issues? I bought these during the thanksgiving sale but just now had time to try and install...

if you unplug the connectors adjacent to the boot in the cab (white cluster harnesses) you can just pull the boot out.

Haven’t heard an issue about the harness connectors.

yes, most of us have the gap in the injected molded mirror piece. Hasn’t been an issue for me in the 7 months I’ve had it installed. He has fixed this since the the thanksgiving drop I believe with a revised mold.

Which connector was it It? my vled connector from the light to the harness was not molded correctly from the factory I had to bend the pins on the male vled connector and expand the female vled connector that had 3 holes for a 2pin connector theres a manufacturing defect with the vled connectors but with some bending of the male pins and expanding the female pins with a hook I got it to work it took me awhile to find the problem cuz my passenger side wasn't working until I found this issue.

For the boot just tug on it a bit while feeding those 3 connectors back towards the door from the cab to give you slack it will pop right out

    Thanks for the info!
It’s the 2-pin harness for the light. It’s a really snug fit (got the drivers side connected), but the pin inside the light section of the wire is bent (which would end up being the passenger side). waiting on a response from MESO to see if they can send a replacement. Along with the mirror caps to correct the gap.

If anyone is able to order the updated molded plastic cap part please let me know. I tried contacting MESO a couple weeks ago and haven’t heard back.
