Yes, a family member just bought one. Pretty sure it’s a 2020. I’d throw the wheels in the trash , but the rest is really nice.

There is a great long thread on how to shop Toyota dealers. Extremely in depth and works for many on TW. MAYBE someone can find the link to it.

The fit and finish of the Highlander is Lexus-like. We had no reason to buy something that size but drove one and loved it. Its a great car. However, it is WAY behind in tech and storage space for kids when compared to the Pilot my brother has.

I did get a chance to peek at the 2020 the other day. I'm not huge on the fat rav4 look they have now but the tech is much improved and it looks like almost nothing changed under the skin which is a great thing.

Lololol She refuses to even learn in my S10 I use for side work. Easy ass 5 speed to learn on. Maybe I’ll steal all the keys to everything (by accident ) and leave for a weekend. Of course leaving my S10 keys on her night stand.

Had a brand new Rav 4 rental not long ago. Good for what it is , but everything is hard plastic and looks cheap af. It’s hard to get into any SUV after having a truck. I have kids , but one rides dirtbikes and the bed has so much more storage than a SUV. LOVED my old 4 Runner , but I can’t shove 4 people in comfortably with dirtbikes in the back of it. LOLOLOL. Ugh , that Highlander for justva road truck though. So damn nice inside of it. I need to drive one.

Be careful. That same test drive cost me about 10k when we liked it that much better than a rav4 lol

Buy wherever, my Tacoma came from a dealer 95 miles away, but I let the local dealer do the free maintenance.

Depends on your circumstances and comfort with dealer, I’ve bought Toyota’s since 1981 from same dealer, I went to another dealer, prices pretty much the same. I get free oil changes for life and can use their car wash anytime, plus the next closest dealer is 70 miles away vs I drive by mine daily so any service is convenient

Check honda pilots as well. I have a pilot and like it more than the highlander. Its bigger.
