And Florida Man holding up the standard

Naked Florida Man High On Meth Bites K-9 And Assaults Officer

Deputies reported hearing “strange noises” when searching the yard and eventually located Watts, naked and covered in dirt, lying in what appeared to be some shallow body of water.

Watts’ behavior was described as manic by the two responding deputies who said he paced “back and forth laughing” while making “bird noises.”

But it ended well after he bit the dog

Eventually, the dog broke free and bit Watts in the head.

Cutting funding for education over the years has it's consequences.

Self control and respect Has nothing to do with education. It starts at home, lack of parenting to start and it all rolled down hill from there.

BEAUTY IN SLIME. Snails hold the secret to youthful skin, according to a Japanese beauty salon

TOKYO, Japan - Having live snails crawl on your face sounds like the thing of nightmares, but in Japan, one company is hoping people will be prepared to pay for it.

Starting Monday, July 15, women who want to slough off dead skin, clear their pores or roll back the years can submit themselves to five minutes of beauty treatment by these mollusks.

"Slime from snails helps remove old cells, heal the skin after sunburn and moisturize it," said Manami Takamura, a spokeswoman for the Tokyo-based beauty salon Ci:z.Labo, as she placed three snails on a woman's face.

"This way, you can have 100 percent pure snail essence directly on the skin."

Snail slime is believed to have an anti-aging effect on human skin, and some cosmetics are already sold with this essence.

But Ci:z.Labo is going a step further in what it says is the first live snail treatment in Japan.

As part of the salon's "Celebrity Escargot Course," customers will get five minutes of snail therapy, along with massage and other facial treatments.

The snail treatment costs 10,500 yen ($105.65). Sayaka Ito said she found the treatment so "nice" she almost fell asleep.

"You can feel the snails moving on your face. At first, it is surprising, but it's actually rather nice," she said.

"My skin really does feel smooth and moist.

For $45 more they will sauté your snails in butter and garlic and you have lunch.

Many years ago, I remember fishing a large aquatic snail out of an outdoor koi pond. I was a kid and naturally curious about it.

I placed the snail on my open palm and waited for it to become comfortable. Soon enough, it came out of its shell and began to cruise around on my open palm... and then there was suddenly an intense stabbing pain in my hand, followed by several hours of numbness in my pinky and ring fingers. I still have no idea what happened, but I'm assuming the snail had some kind of proboscis or something similar for stinging/injecting. I never touched another snail after that experience.

To have them crawl around on my face? Nah, I'm good.
