I don't know if it will work on your 2015. It has 3 leads, neutral, switched and direct. I tapped my reading lights' neutral and direct and got my switched from my compass connection that was not being used in the same overhead area. I tested it on my existing mirror when I had my truck and I can say it works fine.

 

So it does not have a plastic harness to connect to the stock harness above the headliner?

 

no. Wire taps is what I used.
